The Hampton Bag sailed the seas from Great Britain to the United States of America, and landed at the SLR Lounge. It was awarded 4 out of 5 stars overall across four categories: Design, Quality, Features, and Value! SLR Lounge are one of the largest and most reputable photography magazines on the internet. Every year, they carry out independent and non-sponsored reviews of select photographic equipment and accessories. As a startup, we had our fingers and toes crossed they would review us. Luck hit us, when we found out that one of their Managing Editors was keen. A professional photographer herself, Hanssie said,

“The Hampton Bag is great as a handbag and a camera bag, or even a little of both. Does it do the job? Yes. Does it look good doing the job? Definitely.”

Each mooli London Camera bag is fitted with a unique programmable NFC chip behind the internal logo patch. This can be used as a digital ‘Lost & Found’ tag that can store your name and contact telephone number and/or email address. If your item is misplaced or lost, the tag could help your bag find its way home. Read the guide to programming your details here

The concept behind the images in our Lookbook was a ‘city chic’, ‘explorer chic’, and ‘urban chic’. We had a brilliant time shooting across London and down at the beautiful white sandy beaches in Dorset.

A tiresome but thrilling and ultimately rewarding day for the Mooli team, models, and photographers Will and Mark of Double Exposure Photographic.

A Fun Fact: “The participation of women in photography goes back to the very origins of the process. Several of the earliest female photographers, most of whom were from Britain or France, were married to male pioneers or had close relationships with their families. It was above all in northern Europe that women first entered the business of photography, opening studios in Denmark, France, Germany, and Sweden from the 1840s, while it was in Britain that women from well-to-do families developed photography as an art in the late 1850s. Nor until the 1890s did the first studios run by women open in New York City.”

What camera and lens does Veronica Mars, the famed TV series highschool detective carry? Well, quite a few… the Nikon D2H, Nikon 8800, and Nikon D70 and some excellent zoom lenses, the 70-200 f2.8 VR and 80-200 f2.8 8D.

Not sure if her casual sling-over bag is quite up for the job to carry this equipment but in her defence she is effectively spying (and ofcourse we’re assuming that she uses a camera bag insert!)
